Origin
Native to Australia. Common relatives include the Protea, Leucodendron and Banksia
Flower Care
These have a vase life of 2 to 3 weeks. Give them a good clean cut and place in fresh water.
General Info
Waratahs are reknowned in Australia with the New South Wales rugby and hockey teams being named after them. They are actually made up of 100s of small flowers that create the one dense head that we see. Some of the varieties were actually used as a food source by the Aborigines.
