Origin

Native to Crete and South Western Asia. Common relatives include Anemone and Delphinium

Flower Care

These have a vase life of 3 to 7 days. To get the best out of them remove any leaves that may sit in water, recut the stems and place in fresh water with flower food. 

General Info

The latin name derives from ‘rana’ meaning a little frog. This relates to the fact that many species of these grow in wet places. They come in gorgeous bright colours yellow, orange, red, pink and white. Ranunculus are also a member of the buttercup family and their other name is Persian buttercup.
