Different varieties are available year round, however most commonly available through March till August.

Native to South Africa. Common relatives include the warratah, leucadendrons and banksia
Flower Care
These have a vase life of 2 to 3 weeks. Strip of the bottom leaves and give them a good clean cut and place in fresh water.
General Info
Protea’s are the iconic South African flower, with the South African cricket team being named after them, and also the South African coat of arms sporting a protea. Proteas are a flower that is trying hard to be noticed but the audience it is looking for is mainly birds.
