Flower Care
These have a vase life of 6 to 10 days. Recut the stems and place into fresh water with flower food. Its a good idea to change the water every few days. Glads are also geotropic so try and keep them vertical as much as possible prior to putting them in a vase.
General Info
Gladiolus means sword in latin which refers to the long pointed leaves,this could also explain another name that glads are referred to - sword lilies. Glads come in most colours apart from a true blue, and also come in a mini and standard variety.
