Origin

Native to the Mediterranean region. Common relatives to agapanthus and nerines, and a member of the amaryllis family.

Flower Care

These have a vase life of 4 to 5 days. Recut stems and place into fresh water. For at least the first 6 hours keep these seperate from other flowers as they excude a sap that shortens the life of other flowers.

General Info

Daffodils as well as being the welsh national flower are also widely recognised as the flower for the Cancer Society. They were originally named after Narcissus of greek mythology, who was very fond of his own reflection. These come in yellow, white, orange, bicoloured and some greenish ones. These also come in small and large cup and doubles.
